Florence did her work in St. Thomas’ Hospital

Florence Nightingale was famous for establishing the Nightingale Training School for nurses. Florence Nightingale was born in Florence, Italy on May 12, 1820 and when she was a little girl she told her parents she wanted to be a nurse. Florence Nightingale studied nursing in school because she wanted to become a nurse to help people that are sick and that are dying. She did her work in St. Thomas’ Hospital where she studied nursing and she watched the doctor operate on someone. Florence Nightingale was giving soldiers in the Crimean War while they were fighting in the war. She also influenced others to become a nurse to thanks to there are still nurses till this day. ¬†Florence Nightingale’s quote said, “The greatest heroes are those who do their duty in the daily grind of domestic affairs whilst the world whirls as a maddening dreidel.” Her parents were mad at her for becoming a nurse but if it wasn’t for her all the people would have died in the Crimean War and so would have all the people that were not in that war because they could get a disease from getting cut. Other people around the world started following in Florence Nightingale’s footsteps and they all became a nurse to help her save all the sick men and women in the world and in the Crimean War. Florence Nightingale went to school and studied to become a nurse at the King’s College in London and that is where all the other people that followed in her footsteps went to become a nurse too. She is also famous for inventing the Polar area chart and her Biographies of Women Mathematicians she invented the chart to show that the blue represents the area of deaths from Preventable or Mitigable Zymotic diseases, the red represents the deaths from wounds, and the black represents the deaths from all the other causes. She worked with a doctor and she studied how he operated on the person so she could do all the stuff she learned from the doctor and how she studied him operate on the person so she use everything she learned then and it helped her out a lot. She learned how to put fluid back into people’s body when they were throwing it all up so that way they won’t die from dehydration and other things like diarrhea, hallucinations, and the flu. She helped her parents because they got sick really bad and they went to the St. Thomas Hospital and she checked her parents and she gave them medicine and they were proud of her for becoming a nurse and studying nursing in school. While Florence Nightingale served as a nurse for the Crimean War she had to deal with all the wounded soldiers and all their wounds because if she doesn’t they would all die from all the diseases. ¬†As Florence Nightingale was trying to become a nurse she studied the human body so that way if she had to operate on someone she knows how to.
